Day Two
Today we were out at sea... Mother was still trying to get her sea legs... Poor Mother she didn't look to good. Father on the other hand is having a ball. I think the only thing that would make this better for him is if the ship had some cannon's on it. We all have been lucky enough to hear all Dad's Navy stories again and again.
After Karen and I had breakfast in bed (I can get used to that) we went to BINGO. That's right BINGO!! Meet mom, dad, Liz, and Debbie for an action pack session of BINGO. And Guess who won!!!! You got it NO ONE. In the Meszaros tradition we spent more than we won. So what did we do... Later that day we played again and guess what!!! You guessed it we lost again. But this time it was a two for one deal. You buy one card and you get on free. So we lost twice but once was free. I'm trying to rational the loss. The casino on the other hand was a different story. Actually it wasn't I lost $12 in three minutes. I might as well through the money over board.
We all split up for most of the day. Mom and Dad took many naps. Liz and Debbie did something we just don't know what yet. Karen and I went to the pool deck to lounge around. Boy did we get the looks when I showed off my Speedo. They were all in awe. Karen called it shock and awe. Jealousy will get you nowhere. We then watched the men's sexy legs contest. They needed six contestants and unfortunately i was the seventh and was unable to participate. Some big guy from Australia won.. I didn't think he had nice legs but Karen disagreed. What does she know!
Since we relaxed all afternoon and ate most of the day we decided to take a walk around the ship. Four times around is a mile. So we started. It was an easy walk until we reached the bow (or front for you non-ship people) then the gail force winds were in our face. It was like we were in a hurricane. If it wasn't for karen big ass she would have blown over board. Luckily i'm built like a fortress and was able to secure her safety. We though that was the hard part but when we turned to corner to head back to the aft (or back of the ship for you non-ship people) the wind was at our back and WOW it blew us half was down the ship. So we did this five times. It was like walking ten miles uphill in a snow storm as dad would say.
We headed back to the suite and cleaned up for the Captains dinner. See when your a corporate excetitive (like we are) you get to eat with the captain. Boy were there a lot of executives on this cruise. We had hamburger, french fries and a coke. I don't want to tell you want we really ate for fear of you drooling on the keyboard. Wait a minute I will tell you that way you can buy a new keyboard (on sales $12.95). We had lobster and lobster and more lobster combined with the other five courses an a bottle of Wine.
After dinner was a great show of show tunes. It sounded great since i could see due to the lady in front of me who thinks we are still living in the fifties with the bee hive hair due. Unfortunately, the hair was not packed with brains. But Karen said it was a good performance.
After the show it was time for Karaoke. The crowd said they never heard Barry Manalow sung that way before. I had them eating out of my hands and with Karen as the backup vocalist and dancer the ship wanted to hire us. I couldn't believe how many people in one room have absolutely no talent. The first performer was not that bad but it went down from there and fast. My ears were bleeding and I wanted to go to the disco to show of some of my patterned moved but Karen kept saying one more song. I heard one more song for twenty-two songs. But it was fun and definaltly comical.
Then the disco... It was dark inside with all sorts of crazy lights. The music was load which wasn't a problem but the the songs were from the getto and that was a problem. I think the base was cauing my heart to skip beats. We sat down to adjust to the lighting and watched some of the dancers. Now i'm a firm bliever that white shouldn't dance. Holy cow, these folks had no clue on how to move. Once again Karen and I had to show how its done. They didn't appreiciate the crazy chicken like we do!
It's now 1am and we have room service scheduled for 6am to watch the sunrice. So nighty night and talk with you later.
