Day Seven

Day Seven

If your an alcoholic than Cozumel is your place. It was amazing, every street corner had someone selling Tequila, Beer or whatever you want to drink as well as Cuban Cigars. To lore you into stores they would entice you with a shot of Tequila. I would like to own the fifth store. By the time you reach that store you were pretty much liquored up. Good thing I gave up the Tequila after the 25th birthday celebration I don't remember. That's what we did for most of the morning in Cozumel is shop, shop and more shopping. Good thing we had a tour planned at 1:30 or we would still be shopping.

Now for the tour. Karen and myself along with her mother and sister took the tour and it was awesome!! We took a boat ride out of the harbor and meet up with a nuclear powered attack submarine. OK it wasn't a nuclear power one but it was pretty cool. (see pictures) The submarine holds about 40 people and took us down to 110ft in the coral reefs off the coast. We saw all sorts of colored fish and even three sharks. It was like we were in the fish aquariums at Sea World. Karen was lucky enough to sit next to a German family. On the surface no big deal but in a confined submarine the German people don't spend a lot of tim on hygiene. P. U.

Once we surfaced it was another boat ride back to the pier with a complementary screwdriver. And not the tool. We hopped into cab and went back to shopping. good think the boat was leaving and we didn't have much time. Did get a coupe of t-shirts.

Once back on board we meet up with mom and dad (Marge and Jim) and recapped our days events. They ended up going into town and did some shopping, dads favorite past time. It was hot and muggy so they decided to head back to the ship.

While onboard we ate dinner and played bingo. We watched the evening show and retired early (12:30am).
